Brian had been chatting to a guy on the web.

“You got a recent pic of yourself?” he had said.
“How will I know it’s you and not a pic you taken off another guy’s profile?” he had said.

The guy had described the pose that he wanted Brian to take to prove it was him. After much persuasion, Brian took the selfie and sent the guy the pic.

Brian never did hear from the guy again.

He hated hearing the words “nice selfie, Brian” from complete strangers in town. Worse still was trying to explain it to his mum.
