Nigel was a life model so when he was approached to take part in a demonstration outside the town hall about the council banning an exhibition on “The Male Nude in Art” he agreed to join in.
“It would be great if you could demonstrate nude, Nigel,” the organiser had said.
“Naked?”
“Well, yes. I mean, you are a life model, aren’t you? It would make a real impact.”

That’s how Nigel turned up naked at the demo. All went well until the police turned up, cuffed Nigel, and walking him across the square, totally exposed, to the police car.
